Clyde Zail Carnes Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Clyde Z. Carnes Jr., age 84 of Lewisburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Clyde retired from Chrysler with over 30 years of service. He was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle in Germantown. Clyde enjoyed singing Christian music and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Mary Nancy (Ross) Carnes, children: Glenna Reynolds, William “Bill” (Lee Ann) Carnes Sr., Melissa (Dale) Macy, grandchildren: Jennifer (Shane) Simason, William Scott (Stacia) Macy, Samuel Macy, William Carnes Jr., Benjamin Reynolds, Luke Reynolds, great grandchildren: Elijah Simason, Nicco Macy, sisters-in-law: Norma Larison, Betty Haddix, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde Z. and Glenna (Lones) Carnes Sr. and sister: Betty Sue Siler. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Brother Bill Henderson officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
