John "Tom" Thomas Rector Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

John T. “Tom” Rector Jr. of Huber Heights, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2020. He was born to the late Mary Inez (Stewart) and John Thomas Rector Sr. on October 6, 1938 in Indianapolis, IN. He was a tool and die maker for many Dayton area companies, as well as family owned Rector Engineering. Tom was a member of First Baptist Church, Fairborn. He is survived by his sons; James T. Rector of AL, Jeff (Melita) Rector of GA, Jerry (Becky) Rector of IN, Jon (Donna) Rector of GA, daughter; Jennifer Moore of Huber Heights, grandchildren; Jordan, Dustin, Danielle, Aaron, Brandon, Justin, Abby, Beth, Hailey, Benjamin, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters; Liz, Marg, Diana, and Bev, brother; Don, sister-in-law Myra, and numerous family members and friends. Tom is preceded in death by his wife; Frances E. (Jackson) Rector, parents, sister; Alice and brother; Bill. Tom’s visitation will be Monday, April 27, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with services to begin immediately after, with his son, Rev. Jon Rector officiating. Safety precautions will be enforced. We suggest that you keep a social distance of approximately 6 feet from others and wear a face mask if you feel comfortable. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery.
