Samantha Jean Bertholf, 53 of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. Samantha was born February 14, 1967 in Dayton to Joseph H. III and Norma J. (Dobson) Bertholf. She was preceded in death by her father Joseph and brother Stevie Joe Bertholf. Samantha leaves to cherish her memory, her mother Norma J. Bertholf, sister Michaela Tindel, 3 nieces, Kimberly Ryman, Jamie (Michael) Shupe, Alexandra Schell. 3 nephews Robert Schell, Thomas Tindel, Kevin Tinndel. Also surviving are 2 great-nieces Avery Ryman, Lily Shupe, 2 great-nephews Issac Ryman, Logan Shupe and caregiver Connie Bertholf. She retired from Chrysler in January 2020 after 27 years of service. As a teenager, she enjoyed working in nursery at Crossroads Bowling Alley. Due to COVID-19 precautions, there will be a walk-through visitation, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Kindred Funeral Home, 400 Union Boulevard, Englewood starting at 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Jay McMillen presiding.
